Olivinha, ex-Pinheiros, é homenageado pela Liga Nacional de Basquete
O jogador defendeu o Azul e Preto em quatro temporadas
Na bonita festa dos melhores do ano da temporada da temporada do NBB 2023-24, o ex-jogador do Esporte Clube Pinheiros, Carlos Alexandre Rodrigues do Nascimento, ou simplesmente Olivinha, apelido que herdou do irmão mais velho, Olivia, foi o grande homenageado da noite. A festa aconteceu nesta terça-feira (18), no teatro do CCR do Clube.
Sendo um dos dois jogadores que disputou todos as edições da Liga Nacional – o outro é Alex Garcia, do Bauru – aos 41 anos, Olivinha resolveu dependurar o tênis. Foi homenageado pela Liga e por ter sido um dos maiores reboteiros da história da competição, quem for escolhido o melhor nesse fundamento, vai receber o troféu Olivinha.
“´Chegou a hora de parar. Fico feliz com a homenagem da Liga em dar meu nome aos vencedores do maior reboteiro daqui para frente”, disse Olivinha que foi surpreendido com a notícia dada pelo presidente do NBB, Rodrigo Montoro.
Olivinha foi jogador do Pinheiros na primeira temporada do NBB, 2008-09, permanecendo até 2012, onde foi campeão paulista em 2011.
“É muita emoção ser homenageado justamente aqui no Pinheiros, onde comecei a disputar a primeira Liga Nacional”, lembrou o agora ex-jogador.
O presidente do Esporte Clube Pinheiros, Carlinhos Brazolin foi quem abriu o cerimonial, lembrando da importância que foi o basquete na sua vida. “Quando era criança, não jogava basquete, mas fui trazido para o Pinheiros para jogar. Aqui me fiz como jogador, cheguei às seleções de base e me possibilitou ir estudar e jogar nos Estados Unidos. Quando voltei, me tornei empresário, dirigente e presidente. O basquete me deu tudo o tenho hoje. O que seria da minha vida sem o basquete? Nada. Hoje tem muita gente aqui que fez parte disso. Tenho muito que agradecer ao basquete, que tem pessoas como Olivinha, Marcelo Vido, Alex Garcia… Hoje vocês estão todos aqui no Esporte Clube Pinheiros. Quem iria pensar que, aos 57 anos, eu teria essa oportunidade de estar aqui. Fazendo o que mais gosto, com as pessoas que mais amo. Muito obrigado”, afirmou Brazolin.
